Celebrating 32 Years with Cindy Boling (Anderson)

Cindy Boling

Sunrise Services celebrated our 40th year of serving others this March. Over the years, we’ve had the honor of working closely with amazing clients, many of them still with us. This anniversary also provides an opportunity to celebrate one of our greatest assets – the tremendous loyalty of our employees.

Cindy Boling, our Accounting Manager, has been with us for 32 years in various functions. Getting to work with people like Cindy is a great honor. It has been an absolute pleasure working by her side all these years.

Learn more about Cindy via the following Q & A:

What did you do when you first started?
When I first started, I worked in the billing department for Community Trades and Careers working closely with clients to pursue employment opportunities. While each day was quite different, I spent a lot of time completing paperwork and administering the employment needs of clients. I really enjoyed partnering with people to help them realize their potential.

What has changed over the years?
As the years went by, we began broadening our list of services provided. This really expanded and diversified our clientele which has been fascinating to be a part of. I was fortunate enough to develop Washington Home on Your Own (WAHOYO), a non-profit organization that provides payee services and works with clients to secure safe and functional housing. This was just another example of how our services have adapted over the years to serve as many people as possible. To see us grow and work with so many amazing clients has been an amazing experience.

What do you love about working at Sunrise Services?
Answering this question is easy – our clients. So many have been with us since the start. To be a part of their success and watching them thrive in ways that they never knew was possible has been a tremendously rewarding experience. Also, much like most of the work here at Sunrise Services, there is no such thing as a normal day. Working with an amazing team in such a dynamic environment keeps you on your toes!

What are you most proud of?
Starting programs like Protective Payee and WAHOYO are two clear examples on a very long list. On a daily basis we’re reminded of the importance of our work as our clients continue to thrive and live the lives that they deserve. None of this would be possible though without a team comprised of amazing co-workers. For the past 30 years, it has been an honor to come to work every day!

Alongside so many others, Cindy is an example of the compassion, talent and perseverance it takes for us to offer the services that we do for so many people. Our 40th Anniversary is special in so many ways and our employees are a critical component to our client’s success.
